Dr. Scott Overholser – Dentist and Real Estate Manager/Consultant
Dr. Scott Overholser received his undergraduate education from Indiana University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Psychology and Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then enrolled at Indiana University School of Dentistry to finish his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Shortly after he graduated, he started his own practice in Indianapolis.
The next nine years were the benchmark years of his career. During this period, Dr. Scott Overholser honed his skills and knowledge of dentistry as well as his business acumen and people management skills. As the manager of his private clinic, he was compelled to learn the ropes of marketing, inventory control and general administrative work. This resulted in a significant increase in his clinic’s gross revenue and patient base. A firm believer in education, Dr. Scott Overholser also used these years to expand his knowledge in his field by attending hundreds of hours of lectures and hands-on training.
Dr. Scott Overholser career in dentistry ceased for a few years when he joined Garrison Partners Consulting, a Chicago-based real estate consulting firm, as Regional Manager in 2004 and Renaissant Development Group two years later. For three years, he managed to sell luxury single family homes and condominiums in the Texas, Chicago and Minneapolis markets with sales totaling more than $50M.
